There are tests that involve literally 0 culture. Cultural bias impacts nothing
And IQ itself correlates strongly with objectively measures about the brain too. General factor of perception, flicker fusion rate, brain size, reaction time
I remember reading one if his books, race and IQ came up and his entire retort was just some anecdote about blacks and Whites from the army having kids of the same IQ, the US army that does IQ testing for entry, and where different ranks have different IQs
From the same book he talks about how he was adopted and lived basically in poverty, then notes how his siblings weren't adopted and they're doctors and lawyers and whatever. He himself is literally an IQ adoption case study

The example of cultural factor was a woman dringing while pregnant. Of course, that when your culture makes you retarded, your IQ will be lower, and that's a good thing.

@LukeAlmighty He's saying it does and should. "It's biased but that's good because it's purely a useful pragmatic measure to get scientists and doctors, and so it should bias for whatever selects for that"
And he does kinda voice this blank slate idea

The way I understood it, he's saying, that our culture is not "just randomly making medicine". On the contrary, I understood, that culture is driving up both production and IQ tests. Because both sucess and IQ tests measure the same entity.
But I do totally see your point now... Damn, I will have to go over the video a few more times.

Twin studies give .85 of what's measurable. Considering IQ tests can't measure pure general intelligence 100%, you're looking at at least 90%+ genetic
It's just a fake and gay assumption that your culture does make it go lower
I remember a South American study, even controlling for physical traits or location, the only real predictor was racial admixture. Other shit like SNP studies give the same thing basically
