you're supposed to get you inroads with friendly mafias (and equivalent power brokers) before invading where you toss out the undesirables and put your friendly vacuum fillers in to position, then the prince goes and lives in the new province until control is established.

- re-normalized nationalism (as long as its identifying russians to ostracize) while having spent a decade telling people that being proud of your national identity is cringe
- massively reaffirmed firing people for holding incorrect opinions
- elevated chinese banking network from mostly irrelevant to suddenly now has a major enery broker using it
- normalized sanctioning individuals based on corporate fiat alone

yeah i mean the WEF isn't suspiciously winning a lot of agenda points right now or anything

they could use the strategic bomber fleet to dresden it, even if the artillery logistics are cut off from the northern border

but they want to actually capture the cities and not destroy them, this is actually very hard when it's occupied by a large amount of people with antitank rockets and antiair missiles
