Although joking aside, the real problem is, that they either try to describe us in terms, that are simply false: "chud" that have no power, because using lying as an insult just throws shadow back on them. Or they are using properties people are proud of. Christofashist being actually a good example. Racist had to be reclaimed, but that is also becoming a point of pride after it was used as a weapon so many times.
That is, why the right wing calling LGBT activist "groomers" hits so hard. They cannot take pride in something so horrible. Yet, they cannot deny it either.
