@laconicif @TouchBalls69 Not surprised so many people are doing this. Way too many people have too much debt and no savings, so it is no wonder this is happening.

My wife and I got rid of our credit cards, and not only is the mortgage for our house our only debt, but we have a decent amount of savings.

Of course people preffer debt to savings.
Debt is decreasing with inflation. So saving up money in this environment is just stupid. (From a mathematical viewpoint)

Saving cash is a bad idea right now, you you can put the money into other things
