In the most interesting decision points, all options have pros and cons. You think that you can escape the seriousness of decision points by shouting nonsense like “option 3) YOU ARE A NIGGER” but you can’t.
You are both missing the point here. The Trolley Problem is a dilemma where you’re asking someone to take some murderous action that has a utilitarian benefit. Five people dying is objectively worse than one person dying, but to get that one-person result, you have to condemn someone to death.
You can change the scenario in the trolley problem slightly, so instead of pulling a lever, you are pushing someone off an overpass onto the tracks, to try to get a more precise picture of their morals. And you can keep making small changes like this, as luke was alluding to.
But that’s a dumb fucking copout, because neet wasn’t asking out of some genuine intellectual curiosity to try to better understand my position, he was trying to get concessions so I would soften my position on his mass murder takes.

Now, back to the topic. We live in a brutal world. Deaths do happen daily, and people are waging wars with their every decision. Right now, the society is collapsing under the weight of social programs and allowing muslims to enter our countries.
To do nothing is an active choice that will lead to bloodshed. Never forget, that apathy is a decision just like any other.
