@Kagekokoro
I talksed to co-workers who were inironically buying lego as an investment and explaining to me how smart it was...

-_-

@LukeAlmighty depends on the set, but with many niche products there is the chance of it gaining value over time, since its a finite product...
just look at the boom that the pokemon cartridges experienced a year ago
@LukeAlmighty I mean, i dont relate to those weird investments, i dont like any investments at all, but such is the world we live in
and at least with lego you have something tangible, unlike with NFTs

@Kagekokoro With lego, you have a toy that you won't even let your kids play with...

@LukeAlmighty yeah, but at least you have something physical and you will eventually grow up and let your kids play with it

And the scarcity of toys is dying.
3D printers are a thing you can buy now. Lego is 1 dumb program away from getting hit ridiculously hard.

@LukeAlmighty the brand is what gives the product the value, nobody is gonna pay lots for a 3d printed replica, i do get your point though

@Kagekokoro
> nobody is gonna pay
They won't have to...

And yes, I know, that there is always that 1 idiot collector, but selling sets is crazy, since you have to find and pursuate that one idiot.

@LukeAlmighty no persuasion needed, there is always that one crazy sob that collects weird shit
