This is why I cannot take chess seriously.
You know, that these rules were made on the spot by some butthurt nerd, and he just said "you should have know about ""Castling"" Everyone knows about it." so often, that now, people still use it, and added it to the rule sets.
Chess is mostly memorization at this point anyway. Even chess gurus like Bobby Fischer argued this and sought to randomize it because of this.
