Um.... Can anybody with Half-Life 2: Deathmatch *and* SteamVR help me confirm a bug?

If you press [Options] on the HL2:DM menu, either in or out of a game, SteamVR launches.

It's so out of left field that I want to triple check it's not just me before bothering Valve about it.

@r000t @r000t yeah i have an oculus rift s, not installed currently (cant actually use it in linux at all) but I can install it tomorrow and try this

@graf This is on Windows, forgot to mention. Obviously the bug might not be present on Linux.

@r000t @r000t ye i have windows 10 on my desktop right now. my gf is coming tomorrow and i promised her id put her in vr months ago so ill install and set it up tomorrow afternoon and try this if someone hasnt already
@r000t can confirm, without being in VR but having VR, oculus software and steam VR installed and pressing the options in the menu launches steam VR (and the oculus software)

@r000t @graf that has tier zero written all over it. This goon is probably an intern or an outsourcee

As someone who was an intern recently, trying to re-create the issue was the 2nd step right after saying "we're looking into the issue."

This looks like a bot.

@LukeAlmighty @coldacid @graf I don't think they want the bug that bad, folks.

But I am considering hitting gabe up and saying "This shouldn't be the result of me submitting a really, really easy to reproduce bug. It's kinda insulting, and it makes me wonder how things will go if I have a real problem and not just a quirky UX bug."

@graf @LukeAlmighty @coldacid not even sure what subreddit would give a shit about such a weird, insignificant bug like this.
