After playing Factorio and Dyson spheare, I tried Satisfactory..
Man, is that game so painful...
I know, that the point of the game is to build, build large, and build larger, but.... This game did a capital sin of factory games.
It made the "building" part of the game painful, while also making offering you exploration to waste your time. Exploration.
That means, that at some point, you'll just give up, and explore for 5 hours, instead of expanding. And as I said, expanding the factory is PAINFUL.
So, so far:
Factorio: Still the best by far
DSP: Entertaining, but with a lame end game
Satisfactory: 💩
Ok...
I thought about it for a while, and I think I missed the point...
It seems, that satisfactory was designed to be multiplayer friendly.
It doesn't matter that it's 10 times slower (at the begining, I won't dare comparing it to boted factorio), when you can share a moment with a friend and apreciate the work you both did in 3D.
@apropos
I might try that one next.
@Corfiot
I love space engineers. It is a programming wonder.
The problem is, that there is no real goal. I played a "try get off planet with minimal resources at the start" kind of run, but after I left the atmospheare, I again hit a lack of further goals.
@Corfiot
No... should I?
Also, should I repeat my rand on day-night cycle?
