Cigarettes are a really tricky addiction. I've always been on and off, with at least 2 years maximum cessation long ago - but I recently cut them out and I think I've reached a good equilibrium now. I did have a little puff the other morning, but I hated it and put it out immediately. Something is rewired, I think. For now :cirno_laughing: It's a constant process.

Does anyone have any experience with vapes? I've always preferred cold turkey to a substitute, myself. Maybe I should get one? It's just always seemed a little bit redundant to me, and my only indulgence has made me disgusted. I don't want my nicotine to taste like various fruits. There's no point then.

I still think alcohol is the most addictive substance, but the giant advertisements and it's normality in general culture don't help that, I guess.

Anyway, cheers! 🍻

Man, if you can manage to do cold turkey, you have my respect. It is the best way, since it does make a line, that doesn't allow your brain to make a "good enough excuse" to go back.

@RUSHIFA
The fact, that alcohol doesn't make me more social, less depressed etc.

all it does is make me more depressed, unable to walk and hate myself the next day, when I feel like a zombie.

@LukeAlmighty @RUSHIFA I agree with the second part the day after, but I think that in the moment at least it tends to make people more social.

It's still a bad idea to drink though.
