One of the reason, why Marvel will not recover is, that they are loosing aspirational characters.

While Marvel has now 100+ characters, they are ALL either given their power, or born with it. Even super spies and wizzards are thought their art by others.

That is what made every scene with Ironman different. Because he was the guy, who did figgure it out on his own... In a fucking cave.
