Viruses are on the edge of all classical definitions of life, since even though it can evolve, contains RNA etc, it is unable to reproduce it's onw RNA by itself.

Or.... I think it's something like that. Look it up, I am not an expert.

@LukeAlmighty @Royper @milk We still don't have a very good definition of "life", classical or otherwise.

The most interesting attempt recently was a thermodynamic definition, but when you go down that road it's hard not to classify things like campfires and hurricanes as forms of life.

Not to mention, that lefties are still unable to find a definition, that does not include babies.
