@Royper@milk Viruses are on the edge of all classical definitions of life, since even though it can evolve, contains RNA etc, it is unable to reproduce it's onw RNA by itself.
Or.... I think it's something like that. Look it up, I am not an expert.

The most interesting attempt recently was a thermodynamic definition, but when you go down that road it's hard not to classify things like campfires and hurricanes as forms of life.
