Suburbans do NOT need subsidies for shit.
They generate food, and food is a commodity without flexible demand.
That means, that they can sell food for whateverthefuck they want.
The fact, we pay them through subsidies instead of directly is just another government cope trying to justify its existence.

The result of these educations? A majority of the farms went from being family owned to corporate owned over the last 100 years. I think they set the farmers up for expensive failure, and then bought them out at a discount.
If you read the Korean organic farming guide JADAM, it is pretty clear just how scammed the western farmers have become.
