johncena141 changed their compression _AGAIN_. I think they've actually gone backwards now and started using LZMA2 (.tar.xz) again.

@graf they're not "scene", they're basically repackers but they redistribute native linux games. They also repack windows games with wine but honestly I think that is kinda gay, it only makes sense to ease in Linux noobs who don't know how to do wine stuff themselves.

They're super autistic about compression. It's probably changed like 6 or 7 times now. There was a huge pushback from all their special snowflake compression, one of which was a closed source program. gz, zstd, xz, zpaq, dwarfs, FreeArc'Next.

gaming on linux is actually becoming viable because of steam and its fucking cool
