You know what, scratch that...
Does an AI realy need the "self" as a concept?
When I am playing a game, my concept of self is radically different from when I stand notmally, or when I wield a tool.
So, self might actually be much less of a rigid concept, then we might assume. Especially, once you start expanding self to a community and family.
