Tried the game.
It might have been fun, bit the MC is the annoying california Sue, and it was painful to listen to.

Also, I didn't find it as entertaining as alternatives.

Factorio is best. I am playing with the space exploration mod, but that one will make the game way too large for the first playthrough... (although )

If the tower defense is an important part for you, you can also try Mindustry.

@LukeAlmighty ah i already finished the mindustry campaign and have some hundred hours in factorio

although.. not played space ex. @aven used to do that. we never multiplayed it tho.

@LukeAlmighty not in the cloud no. if i rebuilt my old PC (it's still here just .. in parts) i could try to run one on it maybe. not sure how much bandwidth that uses?
