I learned that rules of war are a complete joke when I heard about kid spotters, that are "not combatants" because they have only binoculars and a radio.
@LukeAlmighty @WashedOutGundamPilot @Terry Sounds about as 'non combatant' as a squire bearing a shield for his knight.
