A useful lesson but things like this are why dating your own age seems to be too much of a mismatch. Guys are terrible at understanding what their girl wants in a relationship. Granted, this guy should have his head out of his ass, but everyone is growing and maturing so slowly it’ll take years for him to pick up.
Also she’s already tried this with enough guys to have expectations of what he wants. That’s too much, that’s why these people probably stumble around wondering why they never feel romance or passion.
When you’re inexperienced, the “first” of everything is magical. Your poor lifestyle, shitty kitchen breaking down on date night, your shoddy car stranding you a few blocks from home so you have to walk home in the softly falling snow, they’re all experiences that are cheapened when you have them with dozens of strangers.

The real advice is to improve yourself to maximize your buying power in the dating market and grow a lot of empathy so you can help a girl actually be happy in a relationship. There’s a lot of really bad habits everyone has on both sides, and it’s pretty much up to you to straighten both of you out if you actually want to be happy for years on end.

How not to be misanthropic? From birth, I knew I wanted one thing, and I spend my entire fucking life dedicated to it.
And whenever I say that I really want a family, and am struggling, all I get back is: Women don't owe you sex just because you're nice.
So yeah... I do hate humanity. There ain't much good to it at this point.
@LukeAlmighty @ComfyGuy Boys need to develop more testosterone and strength, for one. If you’re gonna make it you have to have that gritty “fuck you, I’m gonna get what I want” attitude. It’s funny because you can build that and suddenly the girl comes to you.
The world is just as scary to a smart woman, if you look at it from her side she’s small, often insecure (because she doesn’t have the media’s concept of obese sheeboon characteristics, if women were secure they wouldn’t be “bisexual or non binary) and her entire life course rests in the hands of a man. Look at the guys you see around, do they seem like they’re the sort of guy that she can just relax with?
Part of these chicks’ shrewish control and nagging comes from a guy acting like a child. She sees him get off on friday and start playing games all weekend and it sets off all kinds of warning instincts in her head like this man is complacent, he’s just sitting there, he should be strengthening the next and readying for a harsh winter, WTF am I doing with this man he’ll never be able to safeguard our children, why is he so relaxed?!?!?!
We gotta improve both halves of a marriage, because we both have way too many things providing drag in life. I just tend to go easy on the dudes because they’re hard enough on themselves, every church I’ve ever been to hammers us with messaging that we should be more like the girls.
