Musk: Yeah well fuck you too. I'm not sure I can continue to afford the cost of Star Link … PREMIUM for the Ukrainian military.

Apparently if someone else pays for it Musky expects the new payer to pay $4500 per month per terminal.

@LukeAlmighty $4500 per terminal per month instead of $125 per terminal per month?

Were they really getting "premium" service that was worth $4500? I'll bet it's sold and used like mobile phone service in Ukraine -- not "can't go down".

@progo
Ok, let me explain it simple:
Military needs access 99,99 percent of the time.

Normal people are happy with 99.

And if it means your people will die otherwise, you WILL pay that premium. That is the economy of all military spending.

Do you REALY think, that a Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) could not be made for a bit less then $3.960 million? Sure. But not one, that won't fail.

@LukeAlmighty I do not believe Uktraine military is GETTING "99.99% uptime; can't go down; won't go down." This is SpaceX, not Verizon.

@progo
You don't understand what talking in generalized principles means, do you?

@progo
And second, if your customer can print money, do not stop him from gining said money to you ;D
