Yeah, it's been a wild ride lmao. 4 years of the USCIS process were long distance, it was a real pain in the balls. Been here for 6 now though, I feel mostly accustomed to the general culture. And it was all worth it, my mental health's never been better at the very least. Getting the foundations for some financial security in place, shit that's basically impossible in the UK outside of a very narrow framework.
Definitely has problems, and it's all built on a house of cards imo, but there's nowhere else I'd rather be. Maybe Norway, but they probably have their share of problems too.
