Not too long ago I wanted to build like a crossbow and shit out of the stuff I can find from my local home supplies store but I really don't know how to make one and my ambitions surpass my actual capabilities so scratch that idea forever i guess

I watched Mac 10s be made in a garage (home machine shop, small mill, sheet metal bender, lathe) in the 1970 once. A very good local gunsmith known for high end custom rifles was asked how hard it would be, he studied it, and knocked one out in an evening that worked quite well.

@coyote @LukeAlmighty @Curvin @nugger yup. You can illegally make a Glock or ar full auto easily, it's just if you use them for self defense you earn charges for having an illegal full auto gun. And yes this happened recently.

For every one who was insane to spend years of his life planning on how to kill as many as possible there's dumbasses who think "I'm gonna shoot everyone" and then even the ones who spend years doing so get lucky (like a fire door being broken, an outside door being unlocked, etc.)

@LukeAlmighty @LukeAlmighty @PhenomX6 @coyote @Curvin @nugger @Nudhul if any of these mass shooters just changed their target from innocent children to ANYONE else they could become legendary folk heroes. there are plenty of people who passionately hate any given established organization you can think of. law enforcement, the medical industry, the education system. burn down a police station, or hospital/insurance office, or even just wait for a faculty meeting and go shoot teachers instead of students. just engage in the slightest bit of rational thinking and you can upgrade from lunatic mass child shooter to terrorist/vigilante/freedomfighter. basically they are clearly all deeply mentally ill.
