Thinking about how the creator behind SpyXFamily doesn't like his own characters or how popular it is. It was a rehab series to get out of his artist's block (he's only known for two full series before, though, & mostly one-offs, so...). He doesn't like spies, or how he made what editor's said would sell, not what he liked :awoo_sad:

Ironic that the orphan Anya is orphaned by her own author :nono_cry: Seems heartless. There's clearly more to SpyXFamily that people like than generic "cool guy with cute girl" archetype, otherwise it would have been lost in the sea of other works trying to emulate the market.
@RehnSturm256 it is unfair to the show and its fans, but if I were the creator, I would be mad too if people only remember me for a piece I hate that was only created for the sole purpose of regaining attention

Know the feeling.
I spend a ton of hours learning Blender.
Poseted all my progress renders.
Literally noone cared even about the best one.

One day, I wanted to re-try some drawing lessons my sister payed for.
I did a quick sketch from a known picture.

It is my most liked picture. I fucking hate it. It was a quick exercise FFS!!!

@LukeAlmighty @RehnSturm256 yeah it is frustrating when your serious works can't even compete with things you don't even care.
@LukeAlmighty @gingermilk life is weird like that. It's like a "right place at the right time" thing. Who knows? Maybe the things you liked making will draw fans at a later date, or with an audience you didn't know existed! :akko_fistup:
