I never subscribed to the "it's either fedi or twitter" perspective. They complement each other. Here you can have smaller, focused circles (by design). There you have the world.

And that is all I care about in this comparison. They are not the same, and they aren't even in the same league.
@LukeAlmighty lol you can literally use Twitter with a fake number, burner, whatever. Privacy isn't the strong point of fedi. You should look into it if you think otherwise, for your own safety.
