Again, you are comparing it to Sony, so let's not even joke about exclusives being a problem all of a sudden.
And I am not talking about giving them money, I am talking about getting free games. As you said, I am considering his needs, not mine.
And I wouldn't pirate games, either. The only "pirating" I do is emulating retro games

Really, I'd need to buy a lot of games before I'd reach the price of the PC I was looking at building, which was over $800, not including a monitor. People overestimate how expensive non-Nintendo console games tend to be. They're expensive on release, but they usually drop in price pretty fast
