BTW, I hate all smokers from the day, I worked a shitty job, and all smokers just got a "smoke breaks" while I got shit for having my life in order.
Im sorry you have unresolved issues with smokers...
From my experience, smoking grants you interactions and information from people higher than you in the company. You take a break with them, talk about work, establish kinship with them, they share some nice information you else would have never known about.
