College is a luxury bad
@Cosmic
Colleague is 3 different things for 3 groups of people
1) Academics.
Academics don't care either about money nor about utility of the degree. They want to "do research", and usually come from families rich enough, not to understand the concept of money. They don't care about the price, so it's a necessity for their future plans of being useless.
2) Perpetual students
People who didn't have the talk with their father, and have no idea what they want to do. They will need the work, and the debt will only hurt them, but they are too dumb to see, that they're being sucked dry.
3) Actually employable people
Good fucking luck mining any utility out of most degrees. The academics and perpetual students don't understand why a programmer degree should actually have some programming classes, when that time could be spend on philosophy, or even ecology class. At least it increases a chance of you getting hired slightly, but you HAVE TO make your own program, and the day you're hired, focus 100 percent just on the job. The classes are worthless at that point.
