@LukeAlmighty @CSB every one of the blockbuster merchandise filled pile of dogshit that we've been told to see every summer and christmas for the last 40 years all exist because they are attempting to recapture what star wars had in those early 80's summers.
along with star trek, it's fandom also formed the template for modern internet fandom communities, for which it also should suffer.
it deserves as much suffering as a franchise can get.
