God loved Jacob. The old Testament is full of examples where he disciplines Jacob's descendants for faithlessness and abominable behaviour. Does God still care enough about Jacob's line to do it again, or does He only care about the ones who accept Christ?
I don't have this answer but the people who push the "never again" holocaust line seem to believe God does not still love Jacob's people anymore, or they'd be pushing for Hebrew religious observance and faithfulness instead of German guilt.

The "never again" line sounds to me like an excuse for any future behaivor.
Instead of saying "let's make it not wanted", they are begging for others to defend them. That is... pathetic.
Next time I want pyramids. Pyramids!
