Man, being QA'd sucks ass :ablobsadrain:

Damn, I have serious respect for the programmers who can handle it without getting in some serious rage.

@LukeAlmighty you know what i hate the most?

When solo developing a project and I switch hats from "developer" to a "tester"

@pavel
Well, I am usually a tester, and had to quickly write something...

And this other tester seriously is ripping straight through my ego.

@LukeAlmighty well, I am employed as a tester too. So I also enjoy the "ripping through someone's else's ego" too.

But sometimes, testing your own stuff teaches you little bit of humility 😉

@NEETzsche
Because I am fucking human, and hearing: "You did this wrong" is just much bigger ego hit then I thought.

@LukeAlmighty Get ready to be told that after you did it right. The spec says one thing, you made the software do that thing, and then QA sends it back, instructing you that you did it wrong because it doesn't do this other thing instead. Then your boss shows up and starts bitching about how you're behind schedule.

@NEETzsche

Oh, man... Am I so happy we have some reasonable management in here :ablobcool:

@LukeAlmighty I only get so much of that but expect to have one or two experiences like this per year. If you get more than that you, in my own view, gain license to actually start just not doing your job and not giving a fuck. Same applies if they give you shit for being a White Man. The instant you have to apologize for being White is the instant you no longer have to do your job and may grift as much as you please for as long as you can.
