He jumped on the bandwagon with rise of the "sceptic era youtube", and now, all he does are "I fucking love science" level videos, where he just reads the official explanation for every controversial event.

I agree with the “based” people more often than not, it’s just I want someone to come up with a real, actionable plan to deal with it and all I ever actually get is an update on shitty thing Jews/troons/whoever is doing, or some gay purity test that seems like nothing more than an inverse of the $CURRENT_THING for its own sake. It’s not that I think these people are wrong to be upset about the things they’re upset about, and in fact I often am upset about the exact same things, it’s that I’m really quite bored of seeing anime girls with swastika armbands, since it’s obviously designed to do little more than elicit outrage from their shitlib high school English teacher with they/them pronouns.

Basically, the reason I bring this up here is because I want to be able to watch videos about science that doesn’t remind me to either get a covid shot or that you will never be a woman. Both of those messages have been received and have registered, now I want to tell these people to please come up with some new fucking material.

The age of "I just want to be left alone" is long gone my friend. Unless you want to pack up and go innawoods that is. Even then with the advancement in technology it's probably going to be next to impossible to Uncle Ted unless you've genuinely never had any prior contact with society.

I get your sentiments, I truly do, and I've been told various responses when I spoke of it ranging from "it's just the birth pangs of a growing movement" to "X is an Y website, it's part of the culture". Both valid arguments in their right of course but it definitely leaves one dissatisfied. At best one could hope to find their little Niche of like-minded friends in the community and parlay on only the grander things with the greater, and at worse one just has to swallow the pain of watching the global filled with scantily clad ChinkToon girls.
