@LukeAlmighty No, the % correct answers was lower with older LLMs for a reason: because the answers they were giving were wrong. Parity with doctors indicates that LLMs have reached the point where they appear to possess the same level of expertise as your average doctor.

@dave @LukeAlmighty i am a fan of AI including LLMs but I am very uncomfortable calling this "expertise".

incidentally "AI" is already being used in medicine, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expert_system but the advantage of LLM is it finds patterns without them having to be explicitly coded. But man who is gonna trust that
