It makes complete sense, if you are capable of safe hatred.
You get a white collar job, and your actual work is less then 1h a day. Yet, you're wealthy ant know it's wrong.
You want to work, but your job kinda keeps you away from working on your own. And this is driving you slowly insane.

I don't think they are. None of them wants to do a blue collar job, they would rather pay someone from Mexico to fix their washing machine for 300$.

That's where I think the problem stems from.
They do dodge the work, but every time they do, it will add up, and starts nagging them in the back of their mind.
Their entire philosophy is about hating people like them. That is not a coincidence. It is a solution to a cognitive problem.
