Ok, I am starting to have some serious problems getting my head around the employment in IT.
I got offered a programming job right from high school. I heard of people, who are getting job offers weekly. Yet, there are people like Root, who cannot get an IT job no matter what.
I am so confused about this. What is the decisive variable in this?

You're correct. But I have always assumed, that the 15 dollars minimal wage had to have at least some exonomic sense beside: Well, noone will get hired anyway.
