(whatever hypersonic missiles there are currently, they are actually quite bad at hitting moving targets, some countries have supersonic anti-ship missiles, none ballistic, nato actually mostly relies on *subsonic* stuff, defense over-saturation and electronic warfare, that may not be the most up to date idea, but it probably works)

Yeah, that is true, but aren't hypersonic weapons vulnerable to the high powered lasers?
And aren't lasers vulnerable to EMP?
I have to be that guy, but when talking about experimental weapons like hypersonic missiles, you can never be sure what can they do, until the day they are deployed. And it's the dumbest things that make them fail anyway. :D
