@elftummy Why are the balls still connected to the plastic structure? That has to be the most wasteful design I have seen. What is it? 2/3 of plastic just waste, while only 1/3 is the ammo?
@LukeAlmighty@LukeAlmighty it's how injection molding is done. You could probably add extra manufacturing steps breaking the molds but then you'd need to add two more steps - quality control & recycling And then you'd have to have some way to hold the loose ammo in the box
@elftummy@LukeAlmightyI used to have to break parts out of molds as a job when I was 18. you throw all the flash in a bin and grind it back up and put it back into the hopper to make more parts. this is just chink laziness
