Love this roastocracy example: The marketers have never even tried to get IRL experience with their most ardent customer bases. Like always, they ignore the actual clientele and merely cater to a fantasy that’s just a projection of themselves

Also the omnipresent contractor system at work: Everything is just a gig, nobody ever carries fault for anything because it’s just another contractor’s fault!

Everyone is contractor, some people are just expected to work a bit more exclusively.

There is no loyalty from company to employee, and neither does it exist the other way around.
