I enter a BED SHEETS shop. They also sell tablecloth etc.
I enter, and expecting a boomer brain, I start with explanation. "I plan on learning tailoring, what is the cheapest peace of cloth you can offer?"
Without any hesetation, she responded with: We don't sell that here.

That's the entire point of my post though... Boomers cannot start up their brains for .2s required to see, that they are selling exactly what I asked for.
@LukeAlmighty it's a cashier lady, man. Not only is her brain running at 50% capacity because she's a woman, but it's also turned off because she's behind a register. I've worked as a cashier and I can tell you that anyone working that job is running on autopilot behind that register.
@LukeAlmighty also, why the fuck are you buying bedsheets for tailoring practice? Just get free clothes wherever they give them to homeless people or from second hand stores.
