it's all a matter of perspective what you want from society.
one of my best friends lets his kids study Latin and Greek because he thinks that's the way to become well educated.
however, I doubt his kids will take up tech careers and will be productive ultracapitalists.
so do we want people who contribute to this malicious society and by contributing further and support it?
the 250k this lady owes is maybe half of that in actually provided services by the universities. so let's say 125k loss for the uni who is probably reinsured by a big bank. the big bank will have to pay.
