@Fiddle Yeah no shit, what’s up with everyone? You get tired of childish things, you need to have kids in order to enjoy them anew.
If you’re 30 years old you SHOULD be bored of this stuff, you can’t be seventeen forever. You should be excitedly booting up your old stuff to have your 7 yo play the same classics you did as a kid, and being puzzled when he’s less impressed than you’d hoped

I think you're missing the point.
The true problem is, that you reach 30, and there is nothing offered to you as a path forward. That is why people feel sad, that games are no longer fulfilling.
I should read the menu.... but that was written by a boomer, so I guess that one will be useless too.
