Seriously, why do Christians think, it makes them actually look better off, when they compare their commitment to the creator to something as insignificant as nerdy entertainment?
I have seen Christians do it more times before, but if that actually is the true depth of their beliefs, then they should just came out as atheists anyway.
The point is that the atheist is projecting his vapid lifestyle onto the Christian. He assumes that she must be experiencing Christianity the way he experiences product.
The target audience of this comic is Christians, most of whom should get it immediately. Granted, it isn’t the best comic ever, but it isn’t saying what you think it’s saying.
