Running twitter is hard, I don't wish that stress upon anyone
Well, it's harder when you basically fire everyone who used to work on the project and the few that weren't fired ran away. Then you have to hire a bunch of people that know nothing about how your service works and there is minimal knowledge about how it works. You can imagine the impending disaster this is.I trust that the team is doing their best
They have no other choice but to comply to Elon's requests, whether they like them or not.it's easy to critique the decision from afar
It's also easier to not change anything if it is working. You know the saying, if something works, don't touch it. I mean, I get it. There is a bot scrapping problem. Fine. But I'm sure there are other solutions. Maybe a human verification upon logging in? idk.
I think Elon was looking at making an easy buck out of twitter blue rather than just fighting the scrappers.
