@Moon
The point of imposter syndrome is not that you don't suck, but that everyone does.

@Moon
No, they're not.
They are terrified of you noticing the 100 different ways they had fucked up every single day.

And what's worse, they are terrified of people around them with slightly different specialization.

@LukeAlmighty you should only be scared every single day if you're working crazy hard to push past your limits, not panicked every day that you're going to be found out

@Moon
Been there, tried that.
Pushing yourself leads nowhere. Time to live now.

@LukeAlmighty enjoy life and don't worry at all about being an impostor
@LukeAlmighty I'm not saying you're actually an impostor I am saying don't think about it and just do shit
Follow

@Moon
I know.
But my entire point was to not think about it, because everyone is feeling it in a competitive enough industry.

@LukeAlmighty I haven't watched the video yet but I'm not talking about success I'm talking about feeling competent
@LukeAlmighty my antipathy is based around working in the industry and being surrounded by both impostors and bleating about impostor syndrome. anyway I got to a place where my problem is I'm highly competent and surrounded by highly competent people but I never feel like I'm doing enough, I don't even know if there's a name for this.

@Moon

Yeah, that is imposter syndrome my definition though. And it's natural, especially if your colleagues have a different skill sets.

I know shit about programming, and I am surrounded by the best of the best. So, some days, It is hard to believe, that they can actually apreciate my help :ayaya:
