So today is the official release date for Starfield. How are the numbers looking? I'm legit curious if all the negative reactions during early access scared off people who preordered or were going to pick it up today.
But wait if you remove all the black NPCs there will only be 5 characters left.
Not really, I think NMS is boring af.

I am unironically considering it, since Starfield is soulless FPS with pre-made corridor maps inside of generated square fields.

It's worth a shot, just bear in mind it is procedurally generated so you'll begin to notice the seams fairly quickly.

It is a fun game to play for a half hour there, an hour there. Easy to jump into and out of.
I got it for the PC a year ago (originally did a long playthrough on Xbox) and so had to do a full restart.

Didn't play much until a couple weeks ago though, when I finally got an Xbox controller to use to play it on.

At first I was kind of bored, but once I began to build up my equipment, I have gotten back into it.
It is cool that they added in opposing battleships you can fight.
Yeah I first started playing NMS on the Xbox back in 2019 before they added all this stuff in.

I am playing a new run now that I've gotten it on PC.

I have to say though it does get a little slow shortly (a few hours) after you start. You have to build up some resources to get the basic equipment to gain access to the cool new features and it was a bit of a slog for me to get back into it after a break.

Once you are able to freely explore and get upgrades and new ships It becomes very fun again.
