Talking to my grandma was quite an unreal experience.

I carefully explained to her, that for all topics I do understand, the news lie about them 100 percent of the time.

And her reaction was: Sure, but if I don't watch the news, I "won't be informed", and won't have anything to talk with my friends about.

She knows, that news given through TV is still a base for her social life, so the truthfulness of the shit they say is literally not important.
