If you marry Tamamo you know what you are getting because she is explicitly a wife and one of the best and most devoted, with the exception of some really complicated things that happened several hundred years ago which she would not want us to get into right now.
It would be unfair to call Samus a character design or a glorified gacha char like one could 2B (or arguably Ryza but for Ryza it would be mean as nobody played her game but she clearly had a personality in those.) Samus is a gaming icon for a reason and has earned a bit better than that designation but the difference between her and Foxwife is still the same in spirit between Foxwife and 2B. But at least Samus is competent and actually succeeds in her games
@DrRyanSkelton @ChristiJunior No personality is a bit unfair. She has several monologues and some dialogue in Fusion
@DrRyanSkelton @ChristiJunior People might not remember these critters from Super Metroid but they demonstrate some movement abilities Samus can do with the right controls and timing. Samus specifically mentions that they helped her before during the course of Fusion. It becomes necessary to unlock their habitat cell, then they escape to another location and she explicitly worries about their safety being loose within the overrun station.

When I played Fusion for the first time, I wasn't so good at english, and wasn't paying attention to the story anyway, so I thought, that the animals were the ones driving the ship at the end
