Watching the first series after this is a fucking emotional backlash I wasn't prepared for.
I hate to say it, but the quality seriously DID drop with the time skip.

The titan screams are something else in season 1.
It's seriously sad seeing how titans wen't from a true monster to a bio mecha throughout the time.
It literally did a proverbial back flip
Outside aesthetic the writing was awful, being held together entirely by the first part, though perhaps it could have been a nice side story
