These "resumes" are so fucking weird. I've been told to use color, correct font and write only the most important information to the top.
So, I just look up "how to write a resume", and guess what? This is the first picture I'm shown:

Might be different outside of USA, but their recommendation would probably end up with getting the resume trashed for a technical position. Education isn't important. Tell me skills, languages, frameworks. If you have room for personal interests you have room to expand on previous experience.
I've always been told to do one similar to the one on the right
And gotten praise for it
