Nah, I am sure, that in case of real shooting, he would be so high on adrenaline, that the pain would set it at least 1h later. Him asking for his shoe right after seemed to me like the most natural reaction in such a case.

To be fair though I've mentally prepared myself that if anybody attacked me and majorly fucked up I hope I could be composed enough to humiliate my attackers. I would hope Trump would be the same way.
