@LukeAlmighty Let's put it like this: Boogie has convinced me that he's lying about everything. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if he even lied about being fat and he's just wearing a fat suit. He's a total manipulative sociopath. I am aghast at the sheer evil on display.
Boogie is simply a loser who has built an entire career off getting people to feel sorry for him. He's just a parasite doing what instinct tells him to do, calling him evil attributes more agency to his behavior than he deserves.

Being fat is part of his grift. On the one hand, the complete lack of self control that made him fat fits his character, but on the other I could also believe he at least subconsciously never really wanted to shed the weight because he's always known his paychecks came from the pity of the masses. Probably a little bit of column A and a little bit of column B.
Boogie has already faked a cancer diagnosis and Jim went on-stream to call Boogie out on it.
