I’m genuinely happy that this Luigi Mangione paisan (likely) domed that CEO. But when you kill someone, for Christ’s sake DESTROY THE WEAPON, DISPOSE OF IT IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARD, AND NEVER SPEAK OF IT AGAIN. Fucking retard. :philleotardoseethe:

@admin tbh I don't think he cared too much about getting caught. There's very little outsmarting law enforcement in cases like this.

Plus, you don't exactly assassinate someone you don't know if you have something to lose. Think he just accepted he was gonna get caught and rode out the manhunt for as long as he could.

@VD15 Without a murder weapon with the suspect’s prints on it, the cops have nothing. Even that security camera footage is useless without either a confession or physical evidence linking the suspect to the murder weapon. That’s the dirty little secret about murder investigations. They aren’t like those crime scene investigation cop dramas where the detectives and forensic examiners use all these fantastical techniques (which don’t even exist in real life) to impossibly link a suspect to a crime.

@admin There's still plenty of things the cops can do to place him at the scene. The guy undoubtedly had a trail of CCTV footage for several hours before and after the murder which he doesn't have an alibi for. They only need to ID him once in that entire time to stick him. Plus there's at least one eye witness who saw him shoot the guy

@VD15 That is another crucial error he made. He put in the effort to cobble together a ‘ghost gun’, but didn’t give any thought to altering his appearance. If you’re going to take someone out in public, in view of security cameras, plan ahead to use facial prosthetics to disguise yourself.

Fake scars aren't even that hard, and they will be the first thing anyone remembers about you...
